Untouchable is a raiding guild on The Maelstrom server. In list above are classes/specs we are currently looking for. Exceptional applications are welcome at any time. If you have any questions feel free to ask our officers or guild members.

Untouchable was born and started early raiding in The Burning Crusade expansion on Drak’Thul server. During free migration we came to Dragonmaw and while evolving into the guild that we are now, we stepped into every raid instance except Sunwell Plateau. Real progression raiding for us however started in The Lich King expansion. For latest expansion we decided to move to more populated server (The Maelstrom) and continue there with high quality raids. Our raiding core is together for more than a 3 years. As time goes, people sometimes need to quit or take breaks off from the game so our recruitment is reflecting that. We are looking for players who love to raid and take every opportunity to improve their game.

In following list is basic information what applicants can expect:

Raid times:
Raid invites start at about 20:00 server time, buffing and pulling begins at 20:10. We raid until 23:59, sometimes bit longer, 3 days a week, monday, tuesday and wednesday. On weekends we will do alt runs, when they come.
It is very important, that you can attend all of these raids. We ask that applicants maintain a 100% raid attendance. Once you become a member we ask that realistically you maintain a 70%+ raid attendance.
We welcome applicants, who will log on and stay online not for just an hour but the whole raid and can be online for the required days. We are looking for full time raiders. If there is RL issue or AFK (vacation/exams) make sure you will let us know in forums (this is very important thing).

Attitude:
If you don’t have a good raiding attitude, do not apply. Come prepared with necessary gear, consumables, and reagents. Wipes are an inevitability of breaking into new content, be willing to suck it up and come back with more determination then before. Listen, learn, and be prepared to adjust, do not repeat same mistakes, take and offer constructive criticism.
We do not want players who will just whine, moan and groan every time we wipe or fail to get to a target. Untouchable is looking for dedicated players who are willing to stay till the end, give their best and put in that little extra effort to make us successful.

Being an applicant:
This part isn’t all fun. You will receive raid attendance for the raid even if you are not in it (if we are full) as long as you stay online. You will most likely not get into every single raid we have, however it would be in your best interest to park your main outside of the zone in, and be on an alt until you are asked to join the raid.

Gear:
We do expect you to have adequate gear for content we are at, it is proof that you put effort into making your character geared for your current or future specs. We do understand that part of wanting to join a raiding guild is gear and it will come eventually. However our loot distribution sytem doesnt favor trials so do not expect anything. Loot will have to be earned.
Working as part of the team must be priority over what gear you get next. Gear isn’t everything. Your attitude, contribution, and skill are more important for us.
If you feel as though you can be an exceptional addition to our guild, but your gear is slightly below par, feel free to apply still.

Skill:
We are looking for players who learn quickly, have good reflexes, and have a good understanding of their class. We have no idea if you are a skillful player when you apply. That is why we have around two weeks application period.

Experience:
It helps if you have some experience with the current end game content raids. However, if you don’t, please still apply to us.
We are always willing to teach new things and help you learn encounters, if you are the right player.

Communication:
We as a guild use a Ventrilo (v3) server and it is more than recommended that you are able to speak and required that you are able to listen to it during raid times, not only to hear strategies but also give feedback.

Connection:
If you have a bad internet connection, and you disconnect every few minutes or more often than internet connections are supposed to disconnect, do not apply. Many fights in this game require stable connections and reasonably low latency. If your connection effects your playing ability to be a good raider then you do not want to apply to us.

Misc:
We are a mature guild with the majority of our players over the age of 18+. Sometimes conversations can get out of hand. If you are easily offended by mature content, then this guild may not be for you. We generally try to be respectful to each other and to each gender. Explicit language is okay, but being crude to the point of being offensive is usually not tolerated and should be kept to private channels. We do have a fair number of women in our guild and being disrespectful is also not tolerated. A lack of respect and inability to be tactful will have a negative impact on your application. If you have a history of being offensive, we don’t want you.

Server transfers/faction changes are welcome and encouraged to apply.
